BUGS garden of the month: Sunnyland garden (on Maryland and King St.)

What’s that growing there you say? Its a garden revolution. Over 7 feet of an over-wintered rye grass. This site is currently being cover-cropped and managed for potential toxicity. Though we are not particularly worried about residues, this site is an experiment in weed mitigation and mycro-remediation (using mushrooms to absorb soil toxins).  We are grateful for the rain and sun which has allowed this to grow so muchStay tuned for phase 2 of the cover-cropping cycle.
